She presented a study assessing women\u2019s political participation in Iraq, highlighting key factors influencing their representation in political life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 14px;\">Additionally, Assistant Lecturer Beda Abdullah Baheet from the Department of International Community Research presented a research paper titled \u201cParliamentary Growth Reflects Society\u2019s Aspirations and the Role of Women in Legislation.\u201d Her paper discussed the reciprocal relationship between the development of parliament and women\u2019s participation in decision-making.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 14px;\">The workshop aimed to shed light on the challenges Iraqi women face in parliament and key legislative achievements in national decision-making.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 14px;\">The session concluded with several recommendations, including:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 14px;\">\u2022 Reforming electoral laws to ensure broader and more effective representation of women.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 14px;\">\u2022 Launching training programs to empower women interested in running for elections.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 14px;\">\u2022 Enhancing political support through parties and local and international organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 14px;\">This initiative aligns with the implementation of the Third National Plan for Women, Peace, and Security 2025, particularly its pillar on participation and institutional action, which emphasizes the importance of encouraging women\u2019s involvement in political
