the 16th Sustainable Development Goal focused on peace, justice, and strong institutions, and in alignment with the Third National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security for the year 2025\u2014particularly its axis concerning protection and prevention\u2014the Empowerment and Capacity Building Department at the Center for Women\u2019s Studies organized an awareness workshop titled \u201cProtecting Oneself from Intellectual Extremism Begins at Home.\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: inherit;\">The workshop was held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, and was presented by Assistant Lecturer Rasha Ali Saleh, with the attendance of several individuals interested in intellectual and educational affairs.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: inherit;\">The workshop shed light on the concept of intellectual extremism, exploring its causes, early indicators, various manifestations, and its serious impact on both individuals and society.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: inherit;\">The session concluded with several recommendations, including:<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: inherit;\">1.The need to use modern software technologies to monitor children\u2019s behavior on social media.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: inherit;\">2.Launching awareness campaigns in schools to educate students about the dangers of extremism and methods of prevention.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: inherit;\">3.Instilling
