The Women’s Studies Center played an active role in the enlightening seminar titled “International Strategies Against Violence Toward Women: The Iraqi Perspective,” held on Thursday, December 14, 2023. The seminar, meticulously organized by the College of Law at Al-Farahidi University, unfolded within the virtual courtroom exclusive to the college.<\/h4>\n

<\/h4>\n

Dr. Riam Abdul Sattar Al-Mufarji, as the representative of the Women’s Studies Center, delivered an insightful presentation delving into Iraq’s national policies formulated in response to international agreements. Dr. Al-Mufarji emphasized the imperative of executing a strategic national plan to effectively combat violence against women. Furthermore, Dr. Sinan Salah Rashid provided a comprehensive analysis of international agreements addressing women’s issues and the global initiatives combating violence.<\/h4>\n
