{"id":911,"date":"2024-10-28T20:41:26","date_gmt":"2024-10-28T17:41:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.wsc.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=911"},"modified":"2024-11-28T14:36:16","modified_gmt":"2024-11-28T11:36:16","slug":"the-center-participates-in-the-conference-on-the-role-of-humanities-and-social-sciences-in-achieving-sustainable-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.wsc.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=911","title":{"rendered":"The Center Participates in the Conference on \u201cThe Role of Humanities and Social Sciences in Achieving Sustainable Development\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: Tahoma;\">Dr. Saba Hussein Mola, Head of the Policies and Legislation Department at the Woman\u2019s Studies Center, participated in the 7th International Scientific Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences, titled \u201cThe Role of Humanities and Social Sciences in Achieving Sustainable Development.\u201d The conference took place on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, and lasted for four days in Duhok Governorate.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: Tahoma;\">The conference was organized by the North European Academy of Sciences and Scientific Research in Denmark, in cooperation with numerous universities and research institutions. Dr. Mola presented her research titled \u201cThe Feminist Movement in Kuwait and Its Impact on Gulf Society 1961-1980.\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: Tahoma;\">The conference concluded with several recommendations, including:<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: Tahoma;\">1.Organizing awareness campaigns to enhance community awareness of the importance of women\u2019s participation in political life and their active role in achieving development.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: Tahoma;\">2.Providing educational and training programs for women to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective political participation.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: Tahoma;\">3.Encouraging women to engage in entrepreneurship and providing them with financial and training support, which enhances their financial independence and enables them to participate confidently in politics.<\/span><\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column
