On Monday, December 16, 2024, the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Unit at the Woman’s Studies Center organized a workshop titled “Explaining the Performance Evaluation Mechanism for the Academic Year 2023-2024”.
The workshop was delivered by the Head of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Evaluation Unit, Assistant Lecturer Zainab Mohammed Khalaf, and attended by the faculty members of the center.
The workshop focused on the updates to the performance evaluation forms recently released by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the mechanisms for dealing with them. The aim was to improve the process of evaluating the performance of faculty and staff at the center while enhancing the ability to avoid potential challenges during the evaluation process.
Assistant Lecturer Zainab Mohammed Khalaf emphasized that “the new forms place greater focus on scientific research submitted by faculty members to global databases such as Scopus, as well as on revising the points system to better serve the educational and research process at the center and the university.
