The Empowerment and Capacity Building Department at the Woman’s Studies Center at the University of Baghdad held a scientific seminar titled “Women and Artificial Intelligence in Decision-Making” on Sunday, December 29, 2024, in the center’s meeting hall.

The seminar was presented by Lecturer Heba Abdul Mohsen from the Empowerment and Capacity Building Department, who discussed the concept of artificial intelligence, its impact, and its social dimensions, as well as the role of women in decision-making.

The session, moderated by Assistant Lecturer Rasha Ali Saleh, concluded with several recommendations, including:
•’s Supporting young woman to study scientific and technological fields related to artificial intelligence by providing scholarships and targeted training programs.
• Launching specialized initiatives and training programs to enhance woman’s technical and managerial skills necessary for decision-making using artificial intelligence.
• Promoting societal awareness of the role of women in the field of artificial intelligence and the importance of their participation in decision-making through media and social media platforms.
