On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, Woman’s Studies Center at the University of Baghdad participated in an extensive meeting with the Woman’s Affairs Department at the Presidency of the Republic.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Director of the Woman’s Studies Center, Professor Athraa Ismail Zaidan, and the Center’s Administrative Director, Mrs. Amal Adel Rady, the Director of the Woman’s Affairs Department at the Presidency, Ms. Hanaa Emmanuel, and the Deputy Director of the Department, Ms. Afaaq Hamid Hassan, the participants discussed the progress of the upcoming conference on divorce, scheduled for September 19. They also discussed enhancing cooperation between the two sides through organizing campaigns, conferences, and workshops that serve women and society and aim to improve their circumstances.
