The Quality Assurance Unit at the Woman’s Studies Center, in collaboration with the Center for Strategic and International Studies at the University of Baghdad, organized a specialized workshop on the use of electronic systems on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, as part of the plan of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Evaluation Units to enhance digital transformation.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Jalal Saadoun Hameed from the University of Baghdad’s Website Division, who reviewed the mechanisms for using several electronic systems such as the Indico Scientific Activity Management System and the Digital Repository, with a focus on the steps for uploading scientific research and its role in improving the university’s ranking.

The workshop witnessed an open discussion on the role of electronic systems in supporting the educational and research process in line with the university’s strategy to develop its digital infrastructure and enhance academic quality standards.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the participants came up with several recommendations, the most prominent of which are:

Regular updates of the systems to ensure accurate documentation of scientific and research activities.
Uploading research to the digital repository to enhance the university’s ranking and increase the rate of academic citations.
Developing digital skills through regular training workshops for faculty members and researchers.
