As part of the implementation of the National Strategy 2023-2030 \ Women’s Protection Pillar, the Research Department for Empowerment and Capacity Building at the Women’s Studies Center organized a workshop today, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, titled “Ways to Achieve Women’s Economic Empowerment Amid the Current Economic Reality.” This workshop falls within the framework of the Third National Plan for Women, Peace, and Security, specifically under the Participation and Institutional Reform pillar.

The workshop featured the participation of Ms. Hind Hatem Ali, Head of the Records and Standardization Division in the Financial Affairs Department, and was moderated by Ms. Hiba Abdul Mohsen Abdul Kareem. The session focused on discussing the main challenges facing women in the current economic climate while reviewing policies and mechanisms that contribute to strengthening their role in achieving economic empowerment.

The workshop concluded with several key recommendations, including:
1.Professionally empowering women through training programs in entrepreneurship and financial management.
2.Supporting women-led projects by providing facilitated loans and simplifying legal procedures.
3.Enhancing education through policies that ensure a safe environment for women’s academic and economic empowerment
