As part of the implementation of the National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security for the year 2025, and in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals that aim to build safe and inclusive societies under the “Protection and Prevention” pillar, paragraph seven, the Women’s Studies Center launched a comprehensive awareness campaign on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

The campaign aims to enhance public awareness about the dangers of extremist ideologies and to promote a culture of social peace, tolerance, and acceptance of others.

The initiative also seeks to empower women to be a key pillar in promoting the values of moderation and confronting rhetoric of violence and hatred. The campaign is being implemented through training programs, workshops, and dialogue sessions targeting all segments of society, with a special focus on enhancing the role of women in preventing extremism and building sustainable peace.
