As part of the implementation of the National Strategic Plan 2023–2030 and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals for Women, Peace, and Security, the Empowerment and Capacity Building Department organized a workshop on Thursday, April 24, 2025, entitled “Women’s Empowerment and Peacebuilding in Times of Intellectual Crises.”
The workshop was presented by Ms. Israa Mohammed Ali from the College of Education for Women and moderated by Ms. Rasha Ali Saleh, with active academic participation.
The workshop discussed the importance of enhancing women’s participation in decision-making positions during times of intellectual crises and highlighted the challenges women face in political, social, and economic spheres.
The workshop concluded with a number of recommendations:
1. Support women’s participation in decision-making
2. Develop leadership and intellectual skills through sustainable training programs
3. Encourage the formation of active women’s networks and launch awareness campaigns to highlight the role of women in achieving intellectual and societal peace
