On Monday, April 28, 2025, Professor Dr. Athraa Ismail Zidan, Director of the Center for Women’s Studies, received Mr. Yassar Behzar, a representative of the Regional Commercial Bank. During the visit, he was introduced to the nature of the center’s work, its various activities, departments, specializations, and main objectives.
This meeting comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation between academic and banking institutions, and aligns with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 5 related to gender equality and the empowerment of women. The collaboration aims to support initiatives that contribute to the economic and social empowerment of women and to provide an enabling environment that allows them to play an active developmental role.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Yassar Behzar expressed his appreciation for the center’s efforts in supporting women’s issues and affirmed the Regional Commercial Bank’s readiness to strengthen ties of cooperation in a way that achieves a sustainable positive impact on society.
