In collaboration with the College of Science for Women, the Woman’s Affairs Unit at the Woman’s Studies Center organized an awareness campaign to combat violence.
On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the Woman’s Affairs Unit at the Woman’s Studies Center, in cooperation with the Woman’s Affairs Unit at the College of Science for Women, conducted an awareness the 16 Days of Combating violence violence against woman’s.
This campaign was implemented in alignment with the National Strategy 2023–2030, specifically Pillar 4: Protection of Woman’s, under the slogan “Together to Protect Woman’s from All Forms of Violence.” The campaign included distributing awareness brochures to female students, as well as holding interactive discussions aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of violence against women across the University of Baghdad.
The campaign also addressed local and international laws that ensure the protection of woman’s rights, emphasizing the importance of legal awareness in dealing with cases of violence and providing guidance on reporting mechanisms.
