The seminar included scientific lectures delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Kawakeb Najm Al-Din, Director of the National Cancer Research Center; Lecturer Jolan Hussein Khalil, Head of the Human Rights Unit; and Assistant Lecturer Ms. Noor Fakher Dahash.
In her speech, Prof. Athraa Ismail Zaidan, Director of the Woman’s Studies Center, emphasized the importance of family and environmental support for those diagnosed, as well as increasing awareness of the need for early detection to improve recovery rates and reduce health risks.
The seminar concluded with several recommendations, including:
•Strengthening early screening programs at health centers.
•Providing HPV vaccines at subsidized prices.
•Integrating health awareness into educational curricula to promote a culture of prevention among New generations.
