On Thursday, January 30, 2025, the Department of International Community Studies at the Woman’s Studies Center, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific seminar titled “Peaceful Coexistence and Its Impact on Political and International Stability.” The seminar took place in the center’s meeting hall.
The seminar featured a presentation by the Head of the Department of International Community Studies, Dr. Sinan Salah Rashid, who discussed “The International Community and Political and International Stability.”
In addition, Assistant Lecturer Ms. Zainab Mohammed Khalaf, also from the department, addressed “The Conceptual Framework of Peaceful Coexistence and Its Impact on the Stability of Political Systems.”
The seminar concluded with several recommendations, including:
1. Reforming laws to ensure justice and equality to promote national dialogue and understanding among different groups.
2. Reducing economic disparity and achieving social justice.
3. Combating hate speech and extremism to achieve peaceful coexistence among all components of society
