On Thursday, July 11, 2024, the Director of the Woman’s Studies Center, Professor Adhraa Ismail Zaidan, received a delegation from the Al Ensaf Human Rights Organization. The delegation included Ms. Hawraa Abbas from the Public Relations Department and Ms. Inaam Mohammed, the Social Media Manager, in the presence of Teaching Assistant Zainab Mohammed Khalaf.
The center’s director emphasized “the importance of cooperation between academic institutions and civil society organizations to enhance legal, educational, and family awareness in Iraq, particularly for women.” The Al Ensaf Organization expressed its desire to strengthen the partnership between the two parties to achieve common goals.
The meeting aimed to open avenues for coordination between the center and the organization to hold joint activities and workshops as part of the center’s efforts to expand its collaboration with various relevant entities. This contributes to supporting scientific research and the continuous effort to develop and empower women in all fields that serve society.
